Many radiometers require the use of an aperture to reduce the effect of scatter. This is a simple-to-use, 2-inch non-water cooled aperture designed for use with the 4180 or 4181 Precision Infrared Calibrators.

Use of a nontemperature controlled aperture requires that the aperture only be in place during the time the measurement is taken, one minute or less. Leaving the aperture in place longer causes measurement error.
