The 2082-M spare test lid is designed for the 6102 Micro-Bath. There are times when you require a lid with pre-drilled holes, and other times when a completely sealed lid is necessary. Drilling a series of holes in a test lid is beneficial for calibration as it maintains the bath's seal for maximum stability, ensures the probes are adequately distanced from each other, and are inserted into the bath vertically. However, to avoid spillage while transporting the bath from the laboratory or workshop to the testing location, it's advisable to have a lid that is fully sealed. We suggest having an extra lid for use during testing to maintain optimal testing conditions and a tidy workspace.
