A More Affordable And Compact PEL
Whether you're measuring baselines, assessing energy efficiency, monitoring performance, or verifying energy savings, the PEL 52 is an ideal solution. It's a time/date stamped electrical measuring instrument for understanding and improving electrical consumption. By combining energy efficiency and power logging, residential and commercial contractors can make informed decisions, and track progress in energy-saving initiatives, which ultimately leads to improved operational efficiency and lower energy costs.
Equipped with 2 channels, the PEL 52 is able to be used on split-phase installations or on 2 single-phase installations. It measures:
- TRMS voltage and current measurement
- Power measurement: W, VA and var (N, Q1 and D)
- Measurement of PF, DPF, CF and THD
With its compact size the PEL 52 easily fits in one hand for use, or position it in smaller electrical cabinets where space is limited. It also has the additional advantages of being self-powered via the phase, making it ideal for longer operation on-site, plus there's no need to cut off the mains to begin using it.
Communication options include Wi-Fi to diagnose problems in real-time, an integrated web server, and DataView software for configuring, data retrieval, data analysis, remote connectivity, data viewing and report generation.
Applications
The PEL 52 enhances the efficiency of smaller-scale equipment such as heat pumps, air-conditioning units, wall sockets, appliances, printers, and more. It effortlessly measures, records, and analyzes critical energy data.
- Load surveys - Find out how much energy each item of equipment consumes operating at its min/max power level
- Energy analysis - Estimate energy consumption before and after the improvements
- Energy surveys - The measurements for energy surveys can be performed at several locations on the evaluation site.
