Our red formula helps facilitate processes that require a visual aid to ensure coverage while our clear formula is ideal for transparent substrates such as glass or acrylic. This product is formulated for optimal performance as an adhesion promoter for 3M™ Aerospace Sealant AC-251 when used on polycarbonate, acrylic, glass, metal and/or solvent resistant coatings. It contains mixed solvents blended with a surface activator agent to produce a highly effective adhesion promoter.3M™ Adhesion Promoter AC-137 may be applied to clean surfaces with gauze or a brush prior to application of polysulfide sealants for windshields, canopies and windows.
