Nylostat is a heavier, softer, more natural feeling fabric intended for non-critical ESD applications, where basic static shielding is desired. It is not suitable for grounding via cuffs or Key Option, nor is it guaranteed. Nylostat has a precured soil-release resin finish to offer easy care characteristics to garments. Such properties as wrinkle resistance in use and no iron properties when washed and tumble dried minimize the maintenance effort for the wearer. All Tech Wear garments meet the federal standard for FR (flammability retarding) requirements for polyester fabrics, except sleepwear. The glass transition rate (i.e. melting temperature) is 450 degrees F and the flash point (combusting temperature) is 720 degrees F.
The 361ACQ is a hip-length jacket made of the heavier Nylostat fabric, which is not suitable for grounding, but is intended for less sensitive applications, and in conditions where solder-splash is a concern. The knee-length coat version of this garment is the 371ACQ.
Application: For use in heavy soil & solder. Electrical field suppression properties
