This ESD coat is designed to ground both the garment and the wearer using a ground cord connected to a snap at the hip pocket. This configuration allows for hands-free movement, eliminating the need to tether one hand as required when using a wrist strap with a ground cord. Made from lightweight fabric, it is one of the most popular styles due to its comfort and practicality. The fabric has a surface resistivity of 1 x 10⁵ ohms, and the garment’s sleeve-to-sleeve resistance is guaranteed to remain below 3.5 x 10⁷ ohms for up to 100 washes or two years.
Application: For grounding person and garment when used in conjunction with Key Option. The Key Option is ideal when you already have wrist-straps, or in cases when wearers find the cuffs a little too snug. The wrist strap is snapped to the garment and cord is attached at either hip pocket. (Ground cord and wrist strap sold separately.) Lightweight comfort and excellent ESD performance
