Siglent SDS7000A-EJ Eye Diagram/Jitter Analysis Option (software)
Features And Specifications
- Compatible with SDS7000A oscilloscopes
- Automatically extracts embedded reference clock from serial data and creates eye diagram
- Measurement on multiple eye/jitter parameters is provided
- Mask test on eye diagrams is supported
The Siglent SDS7000A-EJ is the eye diagram / jitter analysis option for SDS7000A oscilloscopes and is the following:
An eye diagram is an oscilloscope display in which a high-speed digital signal is repetitively sampled and applied to the vertical input, while the data rate is used to trigger the horizontal sweep. The combined effects of channel and dispersion can be evaluated from the Eye opening, width, and height. Mask test and Eye Measurements are included.
Jitter analysis includes TIE data, jitter spectrum, DJ, PJ, and more. The various jitter components can be decomposed based on TIE data and analyzed in time and frequency domains.
