Optimum Syringe Barrels

Optimum syringe barrels feature ZeroDraft walls with consistent internal diameters that maintain a perfect seal with pistons to ensure accurate, consistent filling and dispensing with virtually no fluid waste.

Available in 3cc, 5cc, 10cc, 30cc, 55cc, and 70cc capacities, Nordson EFD syringe barrels are molded from a proprietary blend of polypropylene to provide exceptional clarity and chemical compatibility.

The 70cc syringe barrels are Nordson largest size. They allow production lines to run longer with fewer fluid changeovers, reducing downtime. These barrels are ideal for electronic applications such as underfill, potting, and conformal coating.

Nordson syringe barrels and pistons are manufactured in EFD’s own certified silicone-free facilities in the United States and are certified for industrial use.

Amber Syringe Barrels

These UV blocking barrels block UV and visible light wavelengths, while allowing fluid levels to be monitored. These barrels are available in all sizes.

Optimum Syringe Barrel Pistons

Optimum SmoothFlow pistons feature unique channels that prevent air entrapment while providing a smooth profile radius to reduce fluid shear.

Nordson pistons fit perfectly inside Optimum syringe barrels to ensure uniform dispensing force to provide accurate, consistent fluid deposits and prevent dripping and oozing between shots.

Precision wiping edges clean the syringe interior as fluid is filled into or dispensed from the barrel, eliminating waste, residue, and air entrapment.
