Tripp Lite's OMNIVS800 line interactive UPS system offers voltage regulation, surge suppression and long-lasting battery support for personal computers, inter-networking equipment, and other sensitive electronics. Internal UPS circuits support entry-level PC systems for up to 60 minutes during power failures, allowing connected equipment to shut down properly without data loss. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) circuits correct brownouts as low as 89 volts back to usable levels without engaging the battery. It delivers complete desktop power protection in an attractive black tower design.

The unit includes 6 battery-supported outlets for a computer, monitor, and one vital system peripheral, plus 1 additional surge-only outlet for printers or accessories that don’t require battery backup. A HID-compliant USB port enables optional unattended system shutdown during extended outages; a USB cable is included. The port also integrates with Windows and macOS built-in power management and auto-shutdown features. Tripp Lite’s PowerAlert software is available as a free download for additional control and monitoring.

To protect connected data lines, the UPS includes built-in single-line phone/Ethernet surge suppression jacks for use with a modem, fax machine, cordless phone, or other device connected via standard dial-up, DSL, or data line. A built-in audible alarm and 4 front panel LEDs display line power status, battery power status, battery low/replace status, and AVR boost activity. This allows users to quickly determine operational conditions at a glance.

With a power handling capacity of 800VA / 475 watts, the OMNIVS800 supports entry-level PCs, network workstations, point-of-sale systems, small business phone systems, audio/video equipment, and home theater setups. The internal battery provides 3.5 minutes of runtime at full load (800VA) and 11.5 minutes at half load (400VA), enough to prevent data loss or allow for safe system shutdown. Battery replacement is supported through a built-in access panel.
