The Triplett IRTC550 Pocket Thermal Imaging Camera is a versatile tool for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. It helps identify issues in electrical and HVAC systems, mechanical failures, water intrusion and moisture buildup, insulation gaps, defective windows or doors, automotive repairs, and other situations where hidden leaks or heat sources need to be detected.

This device integrates a 2MP visible light camera and supports multiple viewing modes, including Infrared, Visible Light, Picture-in-Picture, and Fusion. In Infrared mode, it features a 160 × 120 pixel (19,200) thermal sensor with a thermal sensitivity of ≤40mk (NETD). It provides center spot readings, three manual spots, three area measurements, two line analyses, and automatic hot/cold markers, all displayed on a 3.5-inch (89mm) focus-free color touchscreen with a resolution of 640 × 480.

Key functions include Auto Fusion, which automatically blends infrared and visible images, a simple menu available in six languages (English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Chinese), a built-in clock and calendar, and an auto power-off option with disable capability. The onboard gallery allows you to view videos (.mp4) and images (.jpg/.HRI) directly, or transfer them to a PC via USB or WiFi (Android OS only).
