Overview

The Triplett IRTC800 Thermal Imager is designed for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting across a variety of applications, including electrical and HVAC systems, mechanical failures, water intrusion and moisture detection, insulation gaps, defective windows or doors, automotive diagnostics, and other scenarios where hidden leaks or heat sources need to be identified.

This device incorporates a 2MP visible light camera and supports multiple viewing options such as Infrared, Visible Light, Picture-in-Picture, and Fusion. In Infrared mode, it features a 320 × 240 thermal detector (76,800 pixels) with a thermal sensitivity of ≤65mk (NETD). It provides center spot readings, three manual spots, three area measurements, one line analysis, and automatic hot/cold markers, all displayed on a 3.5-inch (89mm) focus-free color touchscreen with a resolution of 640 × 480.

Additional functions include manual fusion (0–100%) for adjusting the blend between infrared and visible images, a simple menu available in five languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Russian), a built-in clock and calendar, and an auto power-off feature with disable option. The onboard gallery allows you to view images (.jpg) directly or transfer them to a PC via USB connection. The camera also supports live video streaming to your PC.
