Q: Do I need to get you approved as a new supplier?
A: We are still operating under the same tax ID that we have been operating under so we should not require any re-approval.

Q: Are you still a division of TestEquity?
A: No, JENSEN Tools + Supply is now a product of Techni-Tool. Techni-Tool is a TestEquity company. Therefore, please update your system accordingly.

Q: If you (JENSEN, Techni-Tool, and TestEquity) have the same tax ID, what name should I put down to my account payment system?
A: TestEquity would be the preferred name for your accounts payable system

Q: If I want to enter the Techni-tool name in my account payment system, your remit to address currently says TESTEQUITY only. Can I still use Techni-tool name in my account system?
A: Yes, we can also accept payments under Techni-Tool if that is the name you prefer to have in your AP system

Q: Which Salesperson should I put on the account?
A: Please use your primary salesperson contact on the account.

Q: Is your accounting department going to accept po#’s that say Techni-tool? Currently, our account payment system indicates TestEquity name only.
A: Yes, we can accept a PO with the name Techni-Tool

Q: Is your accounting department going to accept po#’s that say Jensen? Currently, our account payment system indicates TestEquity only.
A: No, please use the name TestEquity or Techni-Tool on PO’s.

How do I contact my sales rep?
A: The same as always. Our phone numbers will remain the same, but our email addresses will change ( You can always refer to our contact information on all invoices and statements.

Q: Do you still offer the same products and services?
A: There are no changes to our offering.  In fact, given our alignment with Techni-Tool, we will have even more offerings to share. The services you have grown accustomed to will remain.  Guaranteed quality of product, integrity and personalized service.  Those are just a few of the commitments that will continue to set us apart from our competition.

Q: What’s happening to the website? 
A: will be retired at a future date. This cutover date and details will be announced in coming months.

Q: Will my bookmarks for your web address still work?
A: Yes. Your bookmarks will continue to work.

Q: My system has all the Jensen part numbers loaded, will those still work? Also will I be able to use those numbers on the new website?
A:  Yes. We have mapped Jensen Tools part numbers to Techni-Tool part numbers. You will be able to search for Jensen Tools part numbers on

Q: I have an order pending shipment I placed before the name change, will this affect my order?
A: No, but if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Q: Will there be any interruption of distribution services?
A: The satisfaction of our customers has been, and will continue to be, our top priority here at Techni-Tool. In keeping with our goal of a seamless transition to our new brand, there will be no resulting interruption to distribution services. We will remain vigilant in our mission to make sure you have the products you need, when you need them.

Q: What will happen to the JENSEN Tool Kits that I purchase from you? 
A: Good question and happy you asked.  The JENSEN branded tools and tool kits you have grown accustomed to can still be purchased through the website.  You can expect the same quality and craftsmanship across the entire product line. 

Q: I sometimes contact departments other than Sales.  Will those names, phone numbers and email addresses change?

A: Contacts outside of the Sales Teams will remain unchanged.  Please continue to use the same contact information you have always used.
